genuine horsehair

we are also purists in the use of natural, genuine horsehair- -no synthetics for us! all of our products are made from natural fibers and vegetable pigments which have not been chemically altered to create artificial consistency. increasingly, synthetic horsehair substitutes have tried to pass themselves as the real mccoy.

don't be fooled.

there is no comparison with the subtle variations of genuine horsehair, either in natural colors or dyed with natural vegetable pigments(as we do!) and then hand braided and assembled. it is like trying to compare nylon with silk.
